1. Prepare your links

      • Open pxmailer/links.txt
      • Add one URL per line
      • Px Mailer rotates these into the link placeholder while sending

2. Add a normal link in the message

      • Edit message.txt
      • Insert the link placeholder where the URL should appear
      • Save and send a test to confirm rotation

3. Embed a QR code

      • Use the qrcode placeholder to embed an inline CID QR image
      • Or use qrcode_base64 for a base64 image data URI
      • The QR typically encodes the active link value for that send

4. Private links

      • In Settings, set PRIVATE_LINK_BASE_URL
      • Set PRIVATE_LINK_ACCESS_CODE
      • Use the private_link placeholder in message.txt
      • Combine with QR placeholders when you want a scannable private URL

5. Image split + QR layouts

      • Advanced builds support image-split layouts with QR segments
      • Enable the related image options in Settings when your license allows
      • Test rendering on mobile mail apps

6. Quality checks

      • Send to Gmail/Outlook/mobile and scan the QR
      • Confirm the destination URL is correct
      • Keep QR size large enough to scan cleanly
